Physics Fiesta

Showcasing unconventional paths to physics

Clark High School

The 2nd Annual Physics Fiesta is a community-based outreach event, celebrated at Clark High School. With 10,000+ physicists gathered in Las Vegas, we have organized this opportunity for physicists to interact with students. Clark High School is a magnet public school with a majority minority population. The event will include relatable speakers (like you perhaps?) who discuss their unconventional paths in STEM, STEM inspired acrobatics by Julia Ruth, a physicist and Cyr wheel performer, stunning and daring physics demos performed on stage, a variety of physics activity booths and casual opportunities for students to talk to physicists. If this wasn't enough, there will be FOOD from Canes!
