Igor Aleiner received his PhD in Physics in 1996 for University of Minnesota. He is interested in quantum effects in Condensed Matter Physics especially in various incarnations of localization phenomena. Igor Aleiner is a fellow of APS and the recipient of 2000 McMillan award.

About the Lars Onsager Prize

The prize was endowed in 1993 by Drs. Russell and Marian Donnelly in memory of the unique spirit of Lars Onsager and his passion for analytical results.
