  • Listing of registered job seekers (including degrees earned, key scientific and * professional skills, and resume) for interviews during or following the live event.

$200: Recruitment Booth Package

You do not need to be registered for the main APS March Meeting to participate! This is a stand-alone registration for this event only.

Note: Registration for this event does not include registration for the main March Meeting. If you wish to attend the scientific sessions associated with the March Meeting, you will need to register for that meeting through the main March Meeting website.

Note: You will need an APS account to register. If you do not have an account, you will be prompted to create one for free. Once you register for the Networking Fair, we will follow up to collect documents and/or videos to be displayed at your booth. Each booth purchase includes: organization logo, two documents (e.g. brochure), and one video; up to 5 representatives can staff the booth. Also, please note that you will not need to register for the March Meeting in order to attend the Job Expo.

Once your registration is complete you will receive an email asking you to fill out a form with information relating to the setting up of your area in the Gather.Town platform.

Job Expo Employer Access Hours

The APS March Meeting Job Expo 2021 will be available to employers starting on Monday, March 8. On that date, you will receive an email with instructions on how to access the space.

Employers will have until the week of March 12 to test, review and request changes to their virtual booth space.

Frequently Asked Questions for Employers

How will I access the virtual space?

Employers will be sent instructions on Monday, March 8 on how to access the virtual space to test and review the booths. All changes to booths will be made by Friday, March 12. You will be able to use the same link to join the live event on the 16th.

Where will interviews be conducted?

Employers will be responsible for scheduling and conducting interviews with prospective hires through their own preferred means (e.g. phone calls, video calls, etc).

Can employers contact job seekers after the meeting?

Yes. Employers may contact job seekers before, during, and after the meeting. A list will be provided to employers of all registered job seekers, including information about their degree earned, scientific and professional skills, and resumes.

Will my job postings also be posted on the main APS Job Board?

This event will be run as a standalone event, and job postings associated with it will not be posted on the main APS Job Board.

March Job Expo employers who wish to also advertise their jobs on the Job Board may be eligible for a discounted rate. They may also receive access to the resume search feature of the main APS Job Board for free. Contact Lesley-Ann Rennie for more information.

Do employers have to be an APS member to participate in APS Job Expos?

No. Any employer, recruiter, or hiring manager is encouraged to participate.

Do employers need to register for the March Meeting in order to participate in the Job Expo?

No, employers do not need to register for the full March Meeting in order to participate. This is a standalone event that is happening concurrently with the March Meeting, and which will be advertised to March Meeting attendees.

Note: registration for this event does not include registration for the main March Meeting. If you wish to attend scientific sessions at the March Meeting, you will need to register separately on the March Meeting website.

How many recruitment staff can be in the Job Expo at any given time?

Up to five people from each organization can be on the platform at any given time.
