Policy shapes science - R&D budgets, visa policy, and more - and likewise science should inform policy on climate, national security, new technologies, and many more topics.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll receive essential training to help you be an impactful advocate on any policy topic that matters to you. We’ll cover the fundamentals of communicating with policymakers, including how to use storytelling to effect change, how to book meetings with lawmaker’s offices, and how to maximize your impact. You’ll leave with all the tools you need to begin or level up your direct advocacy. Bring an internet-connected device. No previous advocacy experience needed!
